A brief history of the Union Pacific Mankato and Worthington Subdivisions:

06/26/21

This simple deck girder bridge crosses Lake Street in downtown Worthington.

The bridge is a rather non significant structure, featuring a single deck girder span. This span is set onto stone abutments, which were built for double tracks.
It was built in 1920, likely to replace a similar structure. Because of the common design and age, the author has ranked it as having local significance.

The photo above is an overview. The photos were taken near sunset on a late Winter Afternoon.
